Itinerary
Transfer to airport for the flight to Nepalgunj. on Hotel.
Fly Nepalgunj – Simikot by Fixed wing aircraft and fly to Hilsa (12,200 ft) by Helicopter. Upon arrival after sorting out loads, climb a short distance hour to a Tibetan salt trading post, Sher. From where it will take 1 – 2 hrs to reach
Taklakot (Purang) on Guest House.
Its another 75 miles to reach Darchen from Taklakot, but we will drive only to Lake
Mansarovar (15,000ft) – 3 hours drive. on Camp.
Rest day at Mansarovar to explore around the shores of the sacred lake. on Camp.
After breakfast drive to Tarboche via Darchen and start trek to Diraphuk (16,500 ft)
approx 18 km walking. ON Camp.
Trek to Zuthulphuk via Dolmala Pass (18,600 ft) – approx 18 km walking. ON Camp.
Trek to Darchen – approx 6 km walking and drive to Mansarovar. ON Camp.
Drive to Sher – cross border and camp at Hilsa.
Fly Simikot by Helicopter. Fly Simikot – Nepalgunj and on to Kathmandu by fixed
wing aircraft.
