Boasting a great variety of landscapes ranges from green meadows to arid pin parbati valley, the challenging trek offers a real challenge to the enthusiastic trekkers. We travel overland from Delhi via Chandigarh to lush green valley of Kullu. Trekking up through lush green meadows, stately forests and narrow valleys accompanied by the constant roar of the river Parbati, we reach Khirganga, the place where Lord Kartikya is supposed to meditated and done penance. Walking over the glacier for complete full day we cross Pin Parvati Pass, where there is startling change in the landscape, as we enter the district of Spit, which lies close to Tibetan border, and conclude our trek at Dankar Monastery. In this remote valley of Spiti there are number of ancient monasteries, which are dedicated to the pre – Buddhist Bon religion. From here we take our prearranged transport to Kaza – the head quarters of Spiti valley.
We spend full day in Kaza visiting Ki Monastery & Kibber village (4205 Mts.); the highest inhabitant village in the world. Driving out of Spiti valley via Kunzam pass (4550 Mts.), we spend a day sight-seeing in the attractive Manali town, before returning to Delhi. The strength of this exciting Adventure holiday is that it packs so much variety into only two weeks.
